The art of coffee roasting

We start with the green bean, not the roast

Excellent roasted coffee is only possible with excellent green coffee. We work exclusively with traceable coffees from Hacienda Las Mercedes and allied producers in Antioquia, selected by density, moisture, and sensory profile.

  • Green coffee with 11-12% stable moisture
  • Traceability by farm, varietal, and process
  • Cupping prior to roast profile design
  • Milling and grading in our own facilities

Testimonials

Brands that already roast with us

Green Hills designed an espresso profile for us that differentiates us in every coffee shop we serve. Consistency between batches is what we value most.

We started with a toll manufacturing of 100 kg per month and today we are at 800 kg. Without Green Hills, we would not have been able to scale our brand so quickly.

The sensory report included with each lot helps us better sell the coffee to our end customers. It's real traceability, not marketing.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your most frequent questions

What is the minimum volume for contract roasting?

We roast from 50 kg per batch. For smaller volumes, we can arrange micro-batches – contact us and we'll evaluate the case.

Can you help me design the roast profile for my brand?

Yes. We work with you from the selection of the green coffee to the final profile. We do approval samples before producing the entire lot.

Does the manufacturing service include packaging and labeling?

Yes. The comprehensive service includes vacuum packing in a valved bag and labeling with your brand. For INVIMA registration, we will guide you through the process.

How long does it take to deliver the roasted batch?

Contract roasting: 5–7 business days. Full service toll manufacturing with packaging and labeling: 10–15 business days, depending on packaging availability.

Do you work with coffees from outside Antioquia?
