Three ways to start with ground coffee

Choose according to your taste and your coffee maker. If you're unsure, send us a WhatsApp message — a barista will help you in under a minute.

01

You come from traditional coffee

Start with Tradition or Bronze. Familiar chocolate and caramel profile, with no aggressive acidity. It is the natural transition without frights.

02

Are you looking for something sweet and aromatic

Our Honey is our best-selling ground coffee. Sweet body, cane honey, and a caramel finish. Works for espresso and filter.

03

Do you want to explore the intense

You taste the Natural or Gold microlot. Fermented fruit or tropical notes — for curious palates, not suitable for traditionalists.

Beans or ground?

When to choose ground coffee

Both are the same coffee from Hacienda Las Mercedes. The difference is whether you have a grinder or prefer simplicity.

Ground

Ready to prepare

  • You don't need to invest in a grinder (a good grinder costs more than the coffee).
  • We grind it ourselves with a professional burr grinder to the exact point for your method.
  • Vacuum sealed with degassing valve — optimal freshness 30 days.
  • Ideal if you have a specific coffee maker (espresso, V60, French press, cold brew).
  • Same coffee, same origin, same cupping profile as the bean.
Versus
Whole bean

For those who have a mill

  • Retains volatile aromas longer (up to 60 days unopened).
  • It allows you to adjust the exact grind and experiment with different methods.
  • Requires its own burr grinder — recommended for home baristas.
  • Better if you prepare coffee every day using several different methods.

Frequently asked questions

About ground coffee

How long does vacuum-sealed ground coffee stay fresh?

We recommend consuming it within 30 days for optimal freshness. Vacuum-sealed and unopened, it maintains quality for up to 12 months. Once the package is opened, consume within 14 days to preserve aromas.

How do I choose the right grind?

When ordering, you choose from 4 options: espresso (fine), filter/V60 (medium), French press (coarse) or cold brew (extra coarse). If in doubt, message our barista on WhatsApp and they will recommend based on your coffee maker.

Why do packages have a degassing valve?

Freshly roasted coffee releases CO₂ for 7–14 days. The valve lets the gas out without allowing oxygen in (which oxidizes the coffee). It's the only way to guarantee freshness in sealed packaging.

Does ground coffee lose aroma compared to whole bean?

Only if it was pre-ground for weeks. We grind to order and vacuum seal in under 60 seconds, so the difference with whole bean coffee within the first 30 days is minimal in the cup.

How many cups does a 250g package make?

Approximately 16–20 filter cups (12–15g per cup) or 30–35 espressos (7–8g per shot). For daily consumption, we recommend 500g or 1kg.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. For international shipping, we prefer whole bean coffee due to customs and shelf life issues, but we also ship vacuum-sealed ground coffee. Please check rates when ordering.
